When (if ever) is it okay for the government to keep secrets?
I think that it is perfectly fine for the government to keep some secrets from society. I understand that they would do this because the government does not want classified information to get into the wrong hands and have a threat to our national security. However, if the government is hiding something that could affect me and the rest of the country greatly I would like to know about it.

I agree completely, there needs to be some boundaries for the government, they can't just keep whatever they want a secret from the public.
ReplyDeleteFor me i feel that secrets are lies to us. When the country is keeping secrets from us, that means they are doing something wrong or they know we wont like it, so they have to keep it from us. So im not sure if i agree with you.
